We provide daily assistance with all needs including personal care, medication assistance, home-cooked meals, 24-hour awake staff, and daily activities to name just a few.

If your loved one is experiencing memory loss, our team provides care designed to meet your senior's medical, dietary, and personal needs, in addition to offering other care services. 

DEMENTIA CARE

Our 24 hour awake staff provides assistance with daily living needs, combined with medication management and other services, creates more than just a "home" but a haven for your loved one.

RESPITE and DAYCARE SERVICES

To reduce the stress often felt by those who care for ailing seniors, Ruthaven offers respite care. If you prefer shorter periods throughout the week to take care of other responsibilities or desire some relief, we also provide daycare services for your senior, creating a safe place with all the amenities while you're away.

If you are looking for short-term care, your loved one may reside at Ruthaven and you can be rest assured that we will deliver the same unparalleled services as to our long-term residents.

ALZHEIMER'S CARE

If your loved one suffers from Alzheimer's, we understand the pressures you face to ensure you find the best care community, not just a "facility." Ruthaven strives to deliver the attention that your senior and family deserve, promoting as much independence that is safe and while maintaining your senior's dignity.

OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE:

• We offer insulin dependent diabetic care (IDDM)

• We offer care for residents on hospice and/or comfort measures

• We work with home health services, physical therapy and occupational therapy

• Residents can opt to use The Home Doctor for in-facility primary care provider visits

WHAT MAKES RUTHAVEN DIFFERENT?

We are staffed like an assisted living community with shift caregivers rather than live-in caregivers, awake staff at night doing rounds, more residents to socialize and connect with, and a more spacious building with a round-a-bout to walk that overlooks a beautiful and secure courtyard. However, we remain small enough for our caregivers to know each resident, personally. As we bond with our residents, we learn about their likes, dislikes, the family they cared for, the careers they had, the things they are most proud of, what makes them smile when they are feeling down, what they worry about most, and what gets them laughing.
